Just a question: Where did the Horselord and Highbred titles come from?
ReplyDeleteGood question! If anyone helps me out with the mod (like doing language translation), I give them a custom unicorn and offer them the Horselord title, which is otherwise unavailable.
DeleteI also ran a contest early on - the first people to breed each of the 5 secret ultimate unicorn breeds won a custom horse, and could choose the Highbred title (which is otherwise unavailable).

DeleteI just wanted to name one of my horses destiny, but it came up as one of the special unicorns. It is pretty cool, but now it's setting things on fire. :(
ReplyDeleteAh, I forgot about that. I need to make a way to name a horse and be able to turn off the custom horse features....
DeleteIn the meantime, try adding a space to the end of your horse's name, so put "Destiny " instead of "Destiny". I know that's not the best solution, but I think it works, and will at least look right.
I've added the ability for you to turn off a horse's custom color. It's in the list of powers that comes up when you push the "Power Settings" button on the horse inventory screen.
DeleteNone of the bottom ones from Princess Crystal and down don't work. Am I just not in an updated version or something?
ReplyDeleteWhich version of the mod and Minecraft are you using? I tested this last night and did notice that in the latest version (1.5.11) of the mod for MC 1.11, Princess Crystal will cause a crash. I've since fixed that bug, and it will come out in the next release.

ReplyDeleteHi!! First of all, I love this mod. I play it obsessively and it's in all my series'. I'm planning on donating for a custom unicorn and was wondering about the titles, like " kind-hearted". How creative can we get with those or are they selected a different way? Thank you ��

DeleteCurrently, there is a list of titles you can choose from in the unicorn creator tool at http://www.hackshop.com/unicorn .
If you would like to have a title that's not on the list, it's something I can do, but I need to charge a little extra, since I have to go in and set it up manually. A unicorn with your own special title will cost $3.00 more (so you'd end up with $6.50 using the current prices). There are more options for special customizations as well. Those cost more depending on how much work they require me to do, but pretty much anything you can dream up is negotiable for the right price.

ReplyDeleteYeah, usually I can get a new horse up in the same day it's created, but sometimes I'm busy with other things or something comes up and it takes me a few days instead.

ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! I am not sure why it isn't working for you on 1.7.10. I'll take a look and see if I can reproduce the problem.
DeleteI just tried Shadowwalker on 1.7.10 with the latest version of the mod, and the horse seems to work. Are you using 1.5.16?
DeleteIf you are still having the problem, are you running on Mac or Windows? If you know where config data is kept, look in there, inside a folder called ultimate_unicorn_download . This is where the mod downloads custom skins to. It would help me debug the problem if you can tell me if there's a shadowwalker.png file in there.

ReplyDeleteI'm guessing it's Tilly. There are a few other ones that have gradients, though: Lunari, Thalisi, Sunset, and Ebb You Guardian all have a gradient somewhere on their textures (and Machin Shin and Joker have special custom textures but no actual gradient).

ReplyDeleteThat's a good question, but unfortunately I can't answer it for you at the moment. Most of the horses are multicolored, so there *may* not be one.
